Infrared thermography

Every object emits infrared radiation. A thermal imaging camera converts this radiation into electrical signals which are used to build up a visible image, a process called infrared thermography. Infrared thermography is used in building inspection, checking insulation, detecting cold bridges, detecting moisture, detecting air leaks, etc.
